  • RE: Question of the Day for 25 Aug 2004

I also got the right wrong answer, but that has already been beaten to death.

A side question is how does one get the BUILTIN/Adminstrators login back on the server so...

  • RE: Question of the Day for 09 Jul 2004

Please check the code behind the question.

I answerd it correctly - current discussion thread not withstanding (choosing option #5 it will onyl display coumn header).

However the question was marked as incorrect ...

  • RE: How Much RAM is your Resrcmon.exe using

    Nope.

I don't have anything fancy. 2 Node Active Passive cluster with a shared SCSI Array. Running a single custom database.

  • RE: How Much RAM is your Resrcmon.exe using

    No reason was ever found.

However, moving the group to the secondary node and rebooting the primary node, and moving the groups back resolved the issue.

  • RE: Update Trigger ?

If the total cost must be updated immediately, this is best done with a trigger. If you can stand a little lag I might consider a job that updates costs in...

  • RE: Question of the Day for 23 Jan 2004

Granted the defualt fill factor could be changed, however if you ever plan on taking any Microsoft exam you must always assume default configurations unless otherwise stated.

Reboot both nodes. Same thing happens

Reboot both nodes, left one node off-line. Same thing happens

  • RE: Stopping the SQL Service on a Cluster

Tried to initiate a failure. That did not work.

  • RE: Remove DTC from a cluster

    Sorry. Version Info:

SQL 2000 running on Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

By the way I tried COMCLUST -r but because there is no cluster it won't let me do that either. I...

  • RE: SQL Agent Auto-restart in a cluster

    Thanks for the reply.

I looked at the EM's Server properties, and "Use NT Fibers" is already cleared.

  • RE: SQL Agent Auto-restart in a cluster

    Thanks for the input.

However, I get no errors in any logs. It's not that the service won't start, it is that it does not auotmatically restart at failover. I can...
