no....the quest console shows the job as "succeeded" although only 1 step has been logged.
i did stop the Quest services on the server but it made no difference.

lol....i have the same problem....hardware engineers look at the total throughout of the SAN saying we rarely reach 5%.....they dont check the actual disk activity where i have noticed 100%...

definately....data and logs need to be seperated if you have the choice
most people do not know the difference between a logical and physical disk....this is the cause of most i/o...
