So what value do you actually set the Maximum server memory (in MB) to? It defaults to 2147483647.
Typically, I leave 10% or 4GB for the O/S. More if there...

On my SQL2014, in Scenario 1, running the verify query shows 0 percent completed while the encryption is happening on the Secondary.
Just FYI...they do more to encrypted status,...

Thanks for posting this! There is not much info readily digestible for SSIS memory if you are an Engine DBA.
