I'm pretty sure there is no actual registry to read in Azure SQLDB...VM yes, but SQL DB no...its a DB as a service, inside a virtual namespace called a SQL...

Tracing will allow you to capture the statements that were sent to the Query Engine. If you want to see data changes you need something like SQL Server Data Tools...
