This is even recommended configuration for upgrade. Remeber that in cluster you can even run both on the same default port 1433 (not recommended).

Change Mutual Authentication Required to No Authentication Required.

If this is cluastered SQL Server you can use the same port as default instance (1433). I recommen however to change deafults.
