It returns "that" when I test on SQL Server 2008, but I thought it should return "this"...
Has this changed in later SQL versions? I am pretty sure I've learned that...

Hmmm, I get "Clustered Index Scan" as both PhysicalOp and LogicalOp in
SQL 2008 with Auto Statistics "false".
With Auto Statistics "true" I get one inner join.

I'd hesitate to describe an unasked for removal of trailing spaces "smart". There are builtin functions...

I thought SQL Server was "smart enough" to remove the trailing spaces. You always learn something new here...:-)

Maybe the second alternative should have been "S"? "T" really doesn't make any sense at all. It really doesn't matter though, it's wrong anyway 🙂

He, He, Didn't think about *.ldf as a "database" extension.
