    We have some jobs (SSIS packages, gets data from 3 different sources) run for 20 hrs max.

    Sometimes, due to load or some other factors, the job hangs...

    we have 10 DBs on the instance and all rests on the same drive...

    they are all of 80 MB of sizes..

    All the DBs are in SIMPLE recovery mode.

    What files are on this drive? The database's data file, log file? What else?

    I see this behavior as strange..

    I assume the ETL process or Bulk operations would have blown this LOG file to max extent even it is in SIMPLE recovery mode.
