xml using ssis

    Hi,

    i am new in the ssis...can someone tell me how to get flat file from a existing xml file?

    Are you wanting to take your XML file, and flatten it out to a flat file output? What exactly is your end goal?

    What You need to do is to take the Dataflow task in the Control flow tab and go to the Dataflow Tab

    In the Dataflow tab You need to select the XML Source and give the appropriate connection in the XML Source Editor like the Location of the XML File and the XSD File if you have any

    Then place the Flat file destination and map it to the xml source.

    it is simeple give it a try and let me know if needs any help.
