Unable to find package after creating it in the visual studio

    hi freinds,

    I have creaed a package in visual studio 2005 but cannot see it in the msdb or in file system.

    Is there any other step to be considered after creating the package?

    By default, when you create a package in BIDS (and thus also an SSIS project), Visual Studio saves the files in the My Documents folder. Somewhere in ..\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects

    Normally when you open BIDS you can get a list of recent projects. If the one you just created is still in there, you can open it and save it in another location.
