  We're moving the SQL 2005 Reporting Services Server. Users have been saving reports built by Report Builder on the old Reporting Services server over the years.

  I have full admin rights to both the old and the new server. I'm able to transfer all the reports built by Reporting Services, but haven't figured out how to transfer the reports built by Report Builder. It seems they are not stored as physical files on the server.

  Is there a way to transfer the reports built by the Report Builder to the new server?

  We're on SQL 2005 SP2.

  Sarah,

  Yes there is a way to get the RDL from a deployed report, as follows:

        - Select the report in Report Manager

        - Open the properties tab

        - Click on the 'Edit' link near the bottom of the page.

        - Save the resulting RDL file
