Doing hourly transaction log backups, all user databases and model db were being backed up.
At the very end it says Package Execution Fa..
Anyone come up with this before.
Tried to not back up model but still got that error.

may be the package tries to backup transaction logs of the databases which are in simple recovery mode...

What do your logs report?
Post all the errors.

The recovery mode was set to Full for all dbs.
Dropped old job, recreated without the model and no issues.
What are the consequence of not doing a transactional log backup of model, doing a full backup once a day of all dbs.

Model database hardly changes. It's used as a template for new databases that'll be created in future. Full backup of this database weekly or whenever you make changes is fine. In your case, you're taking daily backup which is more than sufficient.
