I've got my tempdb set for 500mb or so and get this message fairly often:
Server: Msg 9002, Level 17, State 2, Line 1
The log file for database 'tempdb' is full. Back up the transaction log for the database to free up some log space.
This error generally open happens if I'm running 8 to 10 transactions one after another and even then isn't every single transaction.
Any ideas what I can do to make this stop? It doesn't stop me from processing,etc. All it does is give me the annoying red text in my QA window.

How large is the log file for your tempdb? I'm assuming 500 MB is both data and log files totaled up. What are the settings on the log file and the recovery model for tempdb?
