Stupid SSRS and IE9

  • I've got a report with the page size set to 1150cm. This is just used to display Natural program and will never be printed. I'm searching for codes in program and just come across a problem and I think it would be in IE9 rather than SSRS

I display the program coding but the listing of the program is longer than the 150cm so the list goes onto page 2.

When I search for a piece of code '101' it find the coding on page 1, but when I go to page 2, the same search sting is not picked up by IE9. SSRS exports it correctly to Excel and I find the string (twice), but IE9 doesn't

I dont think there will be any suggestions that will help, I rather think that this is a bug in M$'s product

  • Just figured it out.

When in IE9 you click the Next or Previous buttons of the search it does nothing.

You have to go and change the search string and then search again.

This is a bug in IE9 and if Im struggling with a simple search, I can just imagine what my users will do!
