Starting Population on Full-Text Catalog

  Hi,

  I got this error: "An Unknown full-text failure (80070008) occured in function Create Catalog on full text catalog 'news_catalog' " when ever I try to delete/start-population or save the catalog after I edit it...

  Did anyone have ever expirirence this?

  All I want is just to delete this catalog or recreate it.

  Did you try to delete the catalog folder from the drive where it is stored ? I guess, you need to clean it up in the registry too..

  The path : local key--> Microsoft -- >SQL -- Gatherer --> folder.
