SSRS Distributed Report server configuration issue

    Hi,

    I have done a distributed deployment of my report server ( web and database )

    I am trying to setup database setup in Configure report server tool in report server. I created a SQL server login in db server and created a user with RSExec role in Report server database.

    When i apply these settings " Create Grants Rights" is failing. The detailed exeption is System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access is denied.

    Can anybody assist me on this

    We have a similar configuration, but I use a domain admin account to run the credentials. This domain admin account is also a sysadmin on ALL of our sql server boxes. This kind of configuration may help you as well.
