Hai All,
I am trying to read mails from OutLook 2002 via SQL MAIL,but it is giving the following error
xp_findnextmsg: failed with mail error 0x80004005
If i run xp_startmail, it is giving the following message:
'SQL Mail session is already started.'
In the EM-->Support Services-->SQL MAIL --> Porperties -->Test , is giving the following message: Successfully Started(and Stopped) a MAPI session with this profile
Can anybody tell what could be the reasson

I had a similar problem this morning. Our Exchange Server got corrupt the other day and we had not been able to send email via xp_SendMail from the scheduled jobs since then. I tried restarting Agent that did not work. I then tried the SQL Server service, it did not work. I restarted the server and it was all better when it came back up. I also found some information for you that may be helpful from Microsoft.

Hai,
I solved the problem.....
I was doing this with Windows 2000 Terminal Service, in that case u cannot open Outlook 2002 while doing xp_Readmail, similarly u cannot run xp_readmail while outlook is open....
But All the above problems will not occur if u r doing it from console....
That is it....problem is not with the programe but with the terminal service.....
