SQL Server Won''t Start

    Thanks for the reply.  Trust me, this server has been rebooted several times since encountering the problem.  The only time it "worked" was after I set the 2 SQL processes to manual.  Haven't tried to reboot since but, as I mentioned in my other post to SQLBill, I may give it a shot with MSSQL set to auto and Agent set to manual.

    We are encountering similar issues on a couple of servers so I put a dependancy on the MSDTC service running on the MSSQLServer service startup. This appears to have cured our issue.
