Hurff-Webb, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a qualified candidate for one of its clients with the following skillsets:
The scope of this job is 24/7 production database support for our SQL servers and related jobs.
The individual will be responsible for
1. Configuring SQL servers
2. SQL server maintenance (backup scheduling, integrity checks, install patches, etc.)
3. Production database and job monitoring
4. Implementation of production changes submitted by dba developers
5. Implemeting SQL server security
The skills required are:
1. Advanced - SQL server configuration and optimization
2. Advanced - SQL server maintenance (backup scheduling, integrity checks, install patches, etc.)
3. Intermediate - DTS (Data Transformation Servers)
4. Intermediate - Relational database design
5. Intermediate - Database programming (stored procedures, T-SQL, etc.)
Experience Required:
Three years of production SQL server database support
Computer Proficiency:
SQL Server, T-SQL, DTS
Education:
College Degree - Preferred
Major preference: Information Systems
Must have experience with:
Replication
DB Design
RAID
Windows NT Security
DTS
Ab Initio experience a plus
Oracle experience a plus
This is a contract-to-perm opportunity.

Anton,
This is a contract-to-perm position. My client does not provide any type of sponsorship for visas. You have to be able to become a permanent employee with no sponshorship needed.
