    It has to cover the query, and it's created the same way you create any index. I guess I'm not clear on what you're asking here. The only difference between a covering index and a non-covering index is the match-up between columns in the query and columns in the index being complete or incomplete.

    What does all of this have to do with Integration Services?

    Not a thing.

    It's all about how to ignore that job prep is a superset of interview prep. So as long as it stays on the topic of getting jobs you really can't do, who cares what piece of that it's about?

  • You should be prepared before going to the interview and I believe there is no harm if you know what you are ignoring while doing your regular work.

    so get prepared for interview before going to the interview.

    At the risk of flogging a dead horse, your first sentence can be paraphrased as:

    "Instead of admitting that there are some things you don't know, because you haven't used them or needed to use them before, why not try to blag your way past interviewers to secure a post for which you are not qualified?"

    Maybe you would choose to hire such a person. Most employers would, I suspect, not.

    Be careful about depending on this blog as a resource. Even just looking at today's blog post makes me cringe due to the oversimplification of a topic that will lose you your job opportunity if you rely solely on the information posted.

    Eish, you're not kidding.

    Randheer, that's such a simplification of normalisation that it's near useless (and wrong on at least one point). Do your readers a favour and take that one down.
