Where I can Get the official list of (BACKUP) backupward compatility for SQL Server 2000.
I mean if i have SQL Server 2000 SP4 and i wish to load the database in SQL Server 200 SP3. I know it's working but i need some official information about it,any post on web.
I am Sybase DBA I dont know much abt SQL Server. In Sybase If the base version is same then we can dump and load the database. Like Sybase 12.5.0, 12.5.1,12.5.2,12.5.3,12.5.4 i.e., backups are compatible in all 12.5.x versions, because 12.5 is the base version.
Is the same case with SQL Server.
