  In SQL Server Audit 2008, is there any way to capture the actual source application name in a SQL Server log? For example, if a user used an application (form) call 'PayrollMaint' to delete a payroll record, is there any way to capture the app name 'PayrollMaint' in the SQL Server Audit log file?

  This cannot be logged in the Error Log. Why not make use of the Default Trace? Refer this[/url]
