SQL Clustering compatiable with AG

    Is  he combination of Windows FCI + SQL Server clustering  compatible with SQL Server  AG.

    Setting up AG thru the Wizard, I keep getting this error.

    'This Failover Cluster Instance/Instances do not support Always On Automatic Failover"

    FCI + AG is supported. We're running many FCI+AG clusters in production.

    The error message is informing you that an AG with at least one replica hosted on an FCI instance may not be configured with automatic AG failover. If you're running FCI +AG, then the FCI failover provides availability.

    Thanks.... we realized that the Cluster was set up on 2 different nodes VS. one.
