Good day everyone.
My question is:
How can I create a sql backup where backup file would have ONLY a backed up database name.bac?
No date stamp in the backup file name.
Is there a settings in a Maintenance Plan?
I need to use Maintenance Plan, the reason is that we have more than 200 dbs.

I'm not sure how to do this using maintainance plan. What i can think of is a customized script to take backups for all databases which can be scheduled. In ur case, special thought needs to be given to NOINIT clause depending on whether u want ur backup files to be appended or overwritten.
