  I have a two column XL spreadsheet. Is it possible to import the contents of that spreadsheet to a SQL2K table but using a conditional. For example I only want to import from the spreadsheet where ColumnA of the spreadsheet = 'a value'

  I don't see why not, in DTS simply use a query to extract the data from the file and put the conditional constraint in there.
