Scheduled profiler can't find out where

  • i have a sql 2005 active/passive cluster at off-site location. In looking the the sql log directory I see a trace file being create at 10:00 AM every day now for the last 3 days on this server. Nothing in scheduled tasks, or sql jobs. it creates a trace file with the name

log_399,log_400 etc. It stops at 20,480 bytes. Any place else to look?

  • di you look into windows Sheduler or put in place trace to view who start trace whith this filter

    exec sp_trace_setstatus

  • Nothing in scheduler, all is being captured is creation and delete of objects, most of them in tempdb

Reminds me of the default trace that SQL 2005 has. This is an Audit trace on Objects.
