Restricted mode

    One of my database went to restricted mode after server restarts. May I know why the database went to restricted mode

    Step one would be to check in the SQL Error logs for anything.
    After that, check for any Agent jobs that might have run at startup (or on a schedule that ran shortly after a restart) that might have switched the DB into restricted.

    And, as an aside, are you sure it's in restricted and not recovery?

    Check sql error log, event log.
