Requirements/Configurations in SQL 2005 to be able to use MSDTC

    I've got a requirement from our developers to make sure that MSDTC has been setup correctly.

    What should I be checking in SQL 2005 to make sure that the server is supporting MSDTC?

    I've just checked that the MSDTC service has been started. Are there any configuration that I need to do in the server/database?

    SQL 2005 Enterprise Edition is not clustered. Does it matter?

    Hi,

    With properly setup MSDTC the developers probably ment that DTC Network Access should be enabled in your server. You didn't mention what version of Windows you were running.
