Problems Importing Spanish character strings of over 300 characters long

  Hi,

  I am using the DTS to import a spreadsheet with 3 columns which contains english characters in column 2 and Spannish transalation for the English characters in Column 3.

  The DTS errors out when the length of the column exceeds 300 characters long. 

  Is there a setting that I can use to increase this limit or can i import them using BCP or Bulk Insert.

   

  I tried using bulk insert with default settings and the import went fine but the spannish characters were imported and were changed during the imports.

   

  Any advice/suggestion is very much appreciated.
