Whenever I open up DTS Designer in SSMS it actually freezes my SSMS until I close down the DTS Designer. I actually thought this was by default before. But then I noticed on my co-workers machine that he can open up DTS Designer and still navigate back and do what he needs in SSMS.
I have tried a number of things of uninstalling and reinstalling the 2005 Feature pack, backward compatibility, 2000 Client Tools, 2005 Client tools, etc and have not been able to get it to work like my co-workers.
Has anyone experienced this issue and know how to resolve it? It would be much appreciated!
