I created an NT group Test_R under the domain. Then I added two users under this group, say user1 and user2. Then, from Enterprise Manager, I click Security folder of a server, say Saturn, and gave db_datareader to this group for a database, say Test.
The problem now is that when user1 or user2 click tables from Enterprise Manager, it pop up a window saying invalid user. How is it possible ? Any idea ? Please help.

Try this:
Create a local windows group on a server and add the already existing domain group into the local group. Then, via the EM give access to the local group and place it into db_datareader role.

I found out the problem. It was because user1 and user2 were still logged on. Any security changes I made to NT will not take effect until user1/user2 log off and log back again.
