Not able to locate stored proc. but it is running in job step

    Did you try running sp_helptext in the master database?

    not sure...but maybe it could be a dynamic proc being created somewhere just for the process\job?

    Or maybe it could be a temp stored proc.

    Try checking the master database. We sometimes store procedures or functions at that level in order to make them available to all databases without recreating them at the database level.
