Not able to deploy report in SSRS 2005......

    Hi friends,

    When I tried to deploy the report , I'm getting a prompt named Reporting Services Login ,asking for the user name and password...

    I have the logged in the system as administrator with password, but even if I tried the same to the above prompt , its not accepting it and I'm not able to deploy the reports..

    Please help...

    The Authentication prompt you are getting is from Reporting Services. If you created a local user account or maybe you are using a domain user account, it really doesn't matter. The problem is that the user does not have "Content Manager" privileges. Once this has been properly assigned, you will have no problems with deployment.
