MSDE and webmarshall

    HI All

     we have been told to consolidate our servers

     we have just implemented webmarshall, and the question has been raised about running webmarshall along with MSDE as its database server.

     

    has any one got any thoughts on this or suggestions

    Until I looked it up I had no idea what WebMarshal (I assume you mean NetIQ WebMarshal?) was, so I can not give any specific advice. However, it sounds strange to talk about consolidating servers and using MSDE in the same breath. It all depends on what kind of activity there will be. MSDE is a good database management system, as it has more or less the same functionality as SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition, but it really is a light-weight desktop application.
