Monitoring Solution

    Hi,

    we have many server running mssql 2012.

    we have cluster, log shipping and mirroring setup on server.

    currently we are using some routines to monitor server health etc, but I want to some tool that can monitor and generate alerts. It also monitor cluster,log shipping,mirroring health , performance stats etc.

    What tool you recommend that can server our needs ?

    monitoring is a big subject, and enterprise level monitoring certainly depends on your budget;

    i think a lot of typical apps out there gun for $1K per monitored server, with discounts at various breakpoints.

    are you on a shoestring budget, or is your department willing to spend money?
