  Hi all

  I have a SQL 2008 R2 failover cluster. I am looking for some advice on how best to monitor the cluster to detect issues such as errors on the cluster and in particular when it has failed over and alert me to that fact.

  We have SCOM but it is not yet configured.

  Hi,

  Check cluster.log in the cluster installation path and based on the failover message log,set your monitor.
