Hi
I am getting this error on MMC 3.0(Service Pack 1)
The instruction at "0x0432f9a1" referenced memory at "0x0300le90". The memory could not be written.
I checked event log got this information
Hanging application mmc.exe
I need to restart every time my MMC it stucked after some time and working very slow.
Any help please...

Do you have SQL Server Service Pack 4 for the Client tools installed ?

Try to open C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\BINN\SQL Server Enterprise Manager.MSC file... if you get the error,
Try rename "SQL Server Enterprise Manager.MSC to "SQL Server Enterprise Manager1.MSC" and then copy the same file from different server and see if it works...

Hi
I updated my service pack 1 to 4 but still i have problem.
MMc stucked after some time and when i click close buttom it's giving me above error having on more line
'Terminate program now'
We installed iSeries on my server does it effecting anything?
i have checked event log showing nothing only hanging application.
