Logshipping & Replication

    Hi,

    We are planning to use logshipping temporarily for some time. I want to apply latest service pack to the secondary server before logshipping starts. Is it ok that seconday has sp4 & primary has sp2 in logshipping?

    One of the database needs to be replicate to the other server

    I'm interested in knowing this as well. We also log ship and have replication configured.

    Similarly as you, I am wondering if there can be a mixed match SP configuration between source and destination servers for log shipping / replication type configuration

    Does anyone has any expertise and feedback regarding this ?
