Litespeed backups

    Good Morning Experts,
    How backups are faster in Litespeed tool? What is the mechanism that it uses to take faster backups?

    Faster than what?

    The short answer is probably this: it uses its own compression algorithm that is more efficient than that in native backups.  The long answer?  Probably best to ask Dell (or whoever owns LiteSpeed these days).

    How Litespeed backups are faster than native SQL backup? Does it compress data in memory?
