Launching Report Builder 2.0 without upgrading SQL Server 2005

  • I'm trying to launch Report Builder 2.0 from a web application. I'm using the following line embeded within an ASP page "http://www.servername/ReportBuilder/ReportBuilder_2_0_0_0.Application" and only get a directory listing. Is there something I'm missing? I have SQL Server 2005 installed on the machine I'm trying to launch from. 😀 Any help would be very much appreciated.

Yes a SQL Server 2008 license, because Report Builder is an application attached to each version of SQL Server so without the license you cannot initialize the Report Builder application.
