hi..
i'm facing a new problem in ssrs reports ...
i have hosted an asp.net application which is running fine in XP..
but when i open the application in UBANTU OS application is working
fine but reports in kannada are not displaying
it is displaying some russian character .. same problem when i
export to PDF it is displaying some russian character..
In windows XP prof3 Kannada reprots are working fine..
but in ubantu OS it is not displaying the fonts..
what to do... ? help me....

I'm not sure that you are going to get much help here. This sounds like an Ubantu OS issue not a Reporting Services issue.

I'd have to assume that just like Windows, if the font that was selected does not exist, it defaults to some other font; I'd expect taht that might be the issue here; either the ubuntu server needs the font, or maybe the end user who is viewing the report?
I've made PDF's that used Garamond font, and got reports from end users the report looks funny,a nd spacing was off; it was due to teh end user not having the font i expected.
