Is it Possible? Mirror 2005 SE to 2008 EE

    Is it possible to mirror a database from SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition to SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition? I know that it is not supported and can not be done through the GUI, but I've seen a post saying that it could be done through T-SQL. I have tried and failed with this method. Has anyone been able to successfully do this? Any help is appreciated.
