Installed SQL server 2005

    He all, I am new to sql 2005.  I installed SQL server 2005 on a new server.  I am not sure if I installed it on a Domain.  I am trying to run the copy wizard to upgrade a SQL 2000 database to SQL 2005.  I followed the steps to the letter but it's failing.  I am thinking that the new install is not part of the domain as I need for the CDW.  How can I tell whether it is part of the domain and more importantly; how do I fix it?

    The quickest way to check is to look at the services running on the server where SQL is installed, if the SQL Server service is running as local system rather than as a domain account then that could be your problem. 

    Local system is kept local to the individual server.

    Ok.  I checked and it is not running as local system. Now I just have to find out why the Copy wizard is not working.
