Posted this yesterday, couldn't find it this morning?
running test environment with Itanium RX6600 server.
IA64 Windows 2003 SP2, IA64 SQL 2005 SP2 + SP2 hotfix
when i use the management console, perform any task that uses SQL query, console crashes and quits. no errors in event log. found some articles that suggested reload of .NET 2.0 framework, reinstall of SQL 2005 SP2, install of new hotfix out for SP2 and permissions on some registry keys. tried all of these and still have the issue. wanted to try here first before calling MS.
Any help appreciated

Hi, try by uninstalling "Security Update for Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 (KB928365)" hotfix. Let me know if it works for you.

Not much help to you, but I have had no issues with this on x64 or x86. Hopefully someone who uses IA64 can share their experiences.

I've got the same problem, unfortunately KB928365 doesn't help.
Does anyone has any other ideas?
