  how to take the backup and restore for the replicated databases.

  what are the steps we need to follow to preserve the replication settings

  Backup can be taken without any issues.

  To restore follow the below steps,

  1. Change the publisher database into single user mode.

  2. Restore the publisher database

  3. Run 'sp_replrestart' against publisher database.

  4. Stop and Start the log reader agent.
