How to remove outliner in SSMS?

    Installed SQL Server 2016, but in SSMS code editor it surrounds the line where I type with a rectangle which really annoys me and distracts my attention. How to remove it?

    Sounds like that could be the highlight current line option. Try this:
    Go to tools, Options then select Text Editor and go to General.
    On the right side of the page, turn off/uncheck the option for Highlight current line.
