how to move databases encrypted using TDE and having column encryption to other servers

    We are planning an side by side upgrade. The problem is we have column and TDE encryption on the databases.

    Can any one provide the steps to move these databases?

    just to re iterate, you only need a backup of the certificate and its private key and a backup of the database itself
