How to copy tables from one server to another server?

    Have you checked your disk space on the target server? I've seen sql server grind to a halt during such a transfer when it ran out of disk space. This could be causing your timeout ... or not.

    Just a thought.

    Rick, i checked and i have enough disk space....so i believe this will not be a problem...
