How much longer will Microsoft support SQL 7.0 for?
Do you have any ideal ?
Or it is not a question before the official launch of SQL 2008 ?

Mainstream support for SQL 7 ended in 2005. Extended support will end in 2011.
Mainstream support for sQL 2000 ended in April this year and extended support will end in 2013

SQL 2008 was officially launched 2 weeks ago, on the 6th Aug.

But what is "Extended support" ?
Does it mean if we have had "Extened support" from Microsoft, we can still have Microsoft technical support services on our SQL 7.0 systems ?
