I am attempting to set up a new server and everything has gone pretty well thus far except for one thing. One of our databases is 5 Gig and it takes to long to post a snapshot the traditional way. I have tried many ways of zipping the data and restoring the DB from backup and the like. Everytime I try to create the subscription I say that the data and schema are already out there. Therefore it should not have to post a snapshot. However, when it runs for the first time it tries to post the snapshot. Can anyone please provide me with help ASAP. I need to release this server on saturday and am running out of time. Thanks

I agree. I think we had a few corrupt rows in our distribution database. I finally got it to work at 4:00 AM. Thanks
