Has anyone used LinkServer to SQLServer 2000?

  We are slowly migrating the our systems over to SQL Server 2005. 

  One of our clients is moving to 2005 early, and requires a link server back to a configuration database that resides on SQL Server 2000. 

  We are not able to get SQL Server 2005 Link server to correctly talk to a SQL Server 2000 instance.  

  Anyone know of anything that I am missing in my configuration?

  SOLVED!

  OK, it was not a linkserver issue, but a 64bit to 32bit issue.  

  Ran the instcat.sql file in the SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4.  It upgraded my master databases to handle the access.    Took only 2 minutes to run....
